Training Department is under the Directorate of Consultancy, Training and Research. The Department conducts seminars and workshop tailored towards the manpower development of the banking industry.

The training courses are supply-led programmes for banks and other financial institutions.

Objectives

1. To organize lectures, seminars and workshops on banking, finance and other allied subjects
2. To develop the skills of the operators within the banking industry
3. To improve the knowledge of members in areas of interest

Training Methodology

The methodology used during training sessions includes formal lectures, case studies, and syndicate discussion. In addition, excursions are organized to places of interest in the area where the seminar/workshop is taking place.

Resource Persons

Facilitators used at the seminars/workshops are experts of many years of experience from the banking industry, other professional bodies and higher institutions. These facilitators allow for good blend of theory and practice during training session.
