Chetachi Ezenagu has over 20 years experience in the Banking and Telecommunications industry. Chetachi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and an MBA from University of Lagos. She has attended several Leadership Training programs at world class institutions, locally and internationally, including Harvard Business School.
Her wealth of experience cuts across top tier financial institutions such as the erstwhile Fortune International Bank, Skye Bank now Polaris Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Enterprise Bank now Heritage Bank, Unity Bank and Fidelity Bank Plc. She has held several leadership positions which includes Branch Manager, Enterprise Bank, Lagos, Regional Bank Head at Unity Bank and Regional Bank Head at Fidelity Bank. She is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Nigeria (CIBN), a Fellow of the Certified Professional Financial Consultants, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control and an Associate Member of the Women In Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ).
She is currently an Assistant General Manager, and the Regional Bank Head supervising Ikoyi Region of Fidelity Bank Plc. Chet is a delightful leader who took a newly created Region to become one of the leading Regions in terms of contribution to income and balance sheet footings. She led her team to deliver a remarkable result of over N3b profit, grew deposit by over N37b and Risk Asset by N24b in the first year of operation. She had earlier worked in the same capacity in Yaba/Surulere Region where she turned the region to profitability from a loss of over a billion within 2years.
Chetachi has a penchant for grooming and raising generational leaders through her strong interpersonal skills and great leadership acumen. She groomed several Branch Leaders who were identified by Fidelity Bank as exceptional and were sponsored and endorsed to the Generation Next Leadership Training. She also balances with social skills and supports the required bonding and social network within the Bank. With very strong skills in financial engineering, sales and marketing, customer profile management, world class customer service delivery, administrative duties and team synergy.
